Peu, 34 seulement en lice pour le concours, plus une exposition de 50\u00a0cm3 scamblers italiens, et trois prototypes dont, traditionnellement, une BMW, cette ann\u00e9e l\u2019imposante 1800\u00a0cm3 R18 qui s\u2019annonce comme bien proche de la s\u00e9rie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>La s\u00e9lection rigoureuse des motos permet \u00e0 chaque \u00e9dition de d\u00e9couvrir des engins rares et inconnus, a fortiori dans notre hexagone. Notable exception l\u2019\u00e9dition 2019 se d\u00e9marquait par une participation aussi importante qu\u2019appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e de 6 motos fran\u00e7aises que vous avez d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9couvertes au VRM ou dans d\u2019autres manifestations, mais qui effectuaient ici leur premi\u00e8re sortie internationale. Aviez-vous jamais entendu parler de la <strong>Holcroft<\/strong> <strong>anglo-am\u00e9ricaine de 1901, <\/strong>l&rsquo;une des toutes premi\u00e8res motocyclettes britanniques ou de l\u2019<strong>Achilles<\/strong> tch\u00e9coslovaque, une r\u00e9plique aux plus connues Laurin Klement ? L&rsquo;Allemagne \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sente avec une NSU de 1907, plus connue, mais tout aussi rare, et l&rsquo;Italie avec une Bianchi de 1914. On s\u2019en est bien tir\u00e9 en supprimant une moto au d\u00e9part, la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=2801\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1000 Koehler Escoffier<\/a><\/strong> faisant l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 pour la r\u00e9compense supr\u00eame. Restaient les autres.La <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=1309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DKW\u00a0500 Super Sport<\/a><\/strong>, superbe avec son side-car, \u00e9tait presque trop belle et \u00e9chappa aux prix car il fallait respecter un juste \u00e9quilibre entre les motos super restaur\u00e9es et celles, moins \u00e9tincelantes, dans un magnifique jus d\u2019origine. Les deux am\u00e9ricaines, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modeles.php?lamarque=Harley%20Davidson&amp;tri=cylindree\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harley Davidson<\/a><\/strong> type 29-D et <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=516\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Henderson 1300 KJ<\/a><\/strong> quatre cylindres \u00e9taient bien tentantes, mais souvent vues si rares qu\u2019elles soient tandis que les deux fran\u00e7aises <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=1601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MGC 500 premi\u00e8re version<\/a><\/strong> et <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=4615\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Motorcycle 500<\/a><\/strong> \u00e0 suspension arri\u00e8re prototype \u00e9taient aussi innovantes techniquement qu\u2019esth\u00e9tiquement. La palme revint \u00e0 la MGC, mais une m\u00e9daille exceptionnelle sera remise \u00e0 la New Motorcycle. Mince alors, trois motos fran\u00e7aises r\u00e9compens\u00e9es dans la \u00a0cat\u00e9gorie la plus disput\u00e9e\u00a0! Ce fut \u00e9videmment une lutte anglo-italienne remport\u00e9e haut la main par la rarissime <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modeles.php?lamarque=Moto%20Guzzi&amp;tri=cylindree\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guzzi<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0500 GTCL de 1938, qui n\u2019est autre qu\u2019une Condor de comp\u00e9tition gr\u00e9\u00e9e pour la route. Derri\u00e8re elle, un duel fratricide opposait la sublime et si exclusive <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=2302\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BSA\u00a0500 Gold Star DBD\u00a034<\/a><\/strong> et la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=7203\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norton Inter<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0500 model 30 plus poliss\u00e9e et sans doute moins excitante, mais tout aussi efficace plus polyvalente. Allez, la BSA l\u2019emporte, mais s\u2019il y avait eu une possibilit\u00e9 ex aequo, les deux auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 prim\u00e9es. Cette classe des motos de 1967 \u00e0 70 opposait donc <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=1413\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honda\u00a0750 K<\/a><\/strong>0, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=3403\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kawasaki 500 mach III<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=501\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laverda\u00a0750 S<\/a><\/strong>, Triumph 750 Trident et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moto-collection.org\/moto-collection\/modele.php?idfiche=217\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MV Agusta\u00a0750 S<\/strong><\/a>. La Kawasaki remporta le match grace \u00e0 son aura de moto de l\u2019extr\u00eame comme \u00e0 son exceptionnel \u00e9tat.
