NSU \u00e9tait venu au scooter en 1950 et plut\u00f4t que de s&rsquo;opposer frontalement aux imbattables Vespa et Lambretta, il choisit de prendre une licence de 5 ans pour importer le second qu&rsquo;il am\u00e9liorera au fil des ans. Lib\u00e9r\u00e9 de son contrat, NSU pr\u00e9sente en 1957 les Prima 175 et 150cm3. L&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur conserve dans les grandes lignes l&rsquo;apparence des Lambretta, mais l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur n&rsquo;a plus rien \u00e0 voir et inaugure le concept particuli\u00e8rement ing\u00e9nieux du \u00ab\u00a0flat one\u00a0\u00bb.
