Voil\u00e0 ensuite que les Anglais s\u2019y mettent, et \u00e7a fait mal\u00a0!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les rares Mercury sortiront \u00a0du petit atelier de Laurie Jenks, ing\u00e9nieur, et Len Swabey, plut\u00f4t sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les moteurs, tous deux motocyclistes convaincus, gros rouleurs et bricoleurs patent\u00e9s, \u00a0\u00e0 Croydon \u00e0 une quinzaine de kilom\u00e8tres au sud de Londres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passionn\u00e9s, mais d\u00e9sargent\u00e9s, Lenks et Swabey, aid\u00e9s par deux autres comp\u00e8res, con\u00e7oivent leur premier proto en 1933 , il mettront ensuite un an et demi pour construire dans leurs temps libres leurs quatre Mercury \u00ab\u00a0Rex Light\u00a0\u00bb 600 cm3 \u00a0dans un petit garage \u00e0 peine plus grand qu\u2019une voiture et avec un \u00e9quipement des plus rudimentaires.
